Twenty-five years ago, thousands of Others (orcs, nagas, minotaurs, and other species only known in fairytales) fell onto the burning sands of the Mojave Desert with no way to go home. They were rounded up by the U.S. Military and placed in a fenced enclosure on the outskirts of Los Angeles. 

Embers Origin tells the story of how they came to Earth. The next books each feature one hot, green, tusked orc as the hero of each book as they battle fires and so much more to find their happily ever after.
